Today in my real life I was thinking about what I wanted to do to celebrate a landmark birthday that is coming up early next year, I decided that I wanted a vintage  English tea party with pretty vintage crockery , cupcakes, macarons all served on doilies and pretty floral tablecloths. I found a company online that hired out gorgeous vintage mis-matched floral china tea sets for weddings and parties, the tea cups were so pretty that they gave me the inspiration for today’s looks.

My first finds that fitted perfectly with my theme were from TOSL, I found two fabulous dresses that had prints based on vintage china tea cups. I also found some amazing jewellery to match. You can always rely on TOSL for lovely whimsical little things that are so lovingly made.

I also used a couple of outfits from Vita’s Boudoir, the outfits in this store are so inspiring and have a wonderful couture feel about them. I really need to own every single item in that store and I will even if it bankrupts my Linden account! You must visit Vita’s if you haven’t already, especially if like me you like something a little out of the ordinary.

Aliza Karu had created a crazy and fabulous tea set dress that is also featured here, I just had to have it! I also added some furniture items from Lisp Bazaar that fitted in nicely, Lisp Bazaar is a store very close to my heart and I only wish I could own those creations in real life!

So get yourself a lovely cup of tea and a cake and enjoy a very English tea party!

I don’t expect freebies because I decided to blog, I do it because I enjoy it and I like to share the joy I get from other peoples fabulous creations.

When I do feature an item, I like to drop the creator a notecard to let them know….I think it shows an appreciation for what they do. Of course it is very flattering if a designer takes the time to look at your blog and is happy with how you presented their work.

One such designer was Manya McMahon from Primalot.

Manya kindly took the time to check out what I had posted and she loved how my blog was presented, she added me to her blog list which isn’t usually open to new bloggers.

I was thrilled because I’m a big fan of Primalot jewellery, I love the fact that each piece of jewellery has endless texture and colour combinations with a very easy to use hud. You get a lot for your lindens and the quality and detail is perfect.

Treasured is a locket and earring set I fell in love with as soon as I saw it, I’m a sucker for anything with vintage charm and I love love love that you can add your own pictures and change the textures to match your outfit.
